Specimens are normally collected from the oral cavity, throat, and nasopharynx
Gamma Sterilization according to ISO 11137-2 for both VTM and Swabs
Tube body and cap are polypropylene and leak-proof
Viral Transport Medium (VTM) is manufactured in accordance with CDC Viral Transport Medium formulation of March 2020 recommended formulation; does not contain guanidine thiocyanate
Flocked swab: Innovative jet-embedding nylon adhered vertically and uniformly on the surface of swab tip, improving the efficiency of collection/release of cells and liquid samples to improve analytical sensitivity
Swab, sample collection, and transport tube are packaged together in a blister pack and are sterilized together by gamma both inside and outside of package
